This course provides a comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence (AI) and its implications for management. Students gain a deep understanding of the implications for executive leadership of various AI concepts, technologies, and their applications in different industries. The course explores both the technical and societal aspects of AI, and how they may enable executives to make informed decisions and leverage AI for strategic advantage. By the end of this course, students have a comprehensive understanding of AI and automation, its applications, challenges, and ethical considerations for organizational executive leadership. They are better equipped to make informed decisions regarding the integration of AI in organizations, prepare their workforce for automation and other AI-driven changes, and strategically leverage AI for future success. This course is facilitated by the instructor and is based on recent Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professional development courses.
