Hi, my name is Chris Piascik. I’m an illustrator. In this class I’ll show you my process for making simple looping animations morphing one word into another without using any complicated animation software or features. This animation can be created in Photoshop or in Procreate using the same process. I am not an animator, and I barely know my way around After Effects—actually, I still get lost everytime I use After Effects. The reason I am telling you this is to prove that if I can do it—so can you!
Learn how to get started with expressions in After Effects, and free yourself from keyframes! In this course, we'll cover some of my most-used expressions that can make animation a LOT easier.
Too many new animators use too many keyframes to get the job done, resulting in messy projects that are hard to edit. There's also a natural fear artists tend to have of anything surrounding computer programming. I'll demystify the process in this course, and get you started with some basics.
And in the end, you'll have a fun Ferris Wheel animation.
In this After Effects class we are going to learn all basics and advanced techniques of shape animation by creating motion graphic piece shown in introduction video. This class is great for Beginner level as well as expirienced motion designers. It's a great way to introduce yourself to After Effects, and also learn few new tricks if you already familiar with this software.
This class will walk you step by step through adding a fun layer of animated illustration onto a photographic portrait. This can be exported as a GIF straight from Photoshop (lessons 1-10), or students can also learn how to create a video file using the same assets in After Effects, so the video can be shared on social media. (lessons 11-14)
