Watercolor Florals for Beginners: Autumn Theme

In this class you will learn to sketch and paint a simple floral pattern inspired by classical Indian Floral Designs in a very unique style.

Learn to paint realistic botanical using watercolors ! I will walk you through my process of approaching a painting from start to finish. I will talk about how to find inspiration, take pictures and combine different images to create a nice composition for your final painting. I'll share my simplest techniques in this class so if you are a beginner, after taking this class you'll be confident enough to pick up your brushes and start your botanical illustration journey.

In this class you will learn how to paint a fun page of florals using gouache, we will explore colour palettes, composition and how to build a mood board to fuel your ideas!

Let’s paint a loose and sketchy abstract florals together!!

In this class for any level student, we will explore painting beautiful abstract florals.
I will walk you through painting three basic floral shapes, and practicing loose sketchy lines. I will demonstrate how to mix coral, teal, and interesting green paint colors for our watercolor flowers.
Then, we will chat about layers and details.
I will walk you through 2 different paintings:  a small floral, and a larger coral florals painting.

This class is not a realistic class. The approach is loose, impressionistic, and abstract.

Above all, our focus is on relaxing, staying loose, and enjoying the painting process.

And…..Secretly, almost like magic, we will improve our art and watercolor skills!
