Cruce de fronteras, movilidad y razones económicas

Course Description

"Cruce de fronteras, movilidad y razones económicas" (Border Crossing, Mobility, and Economic Reasons) is an enlightening MOOC that delves into the complex world of human mobility and economic migration. This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the concepts associated with migration driven by economic factors, including the presumption of voluntary movement. Through a variety of engaging resources such as videos, readings, and activities, students will gain a deep understanding of this increasingly prevalent global phenomenon.

The course aims to present, in an analytical and critical manner, the key concepts related to international economic migration. It does so by examining the primary normative sources within International Human Rights Law and interpreting the scope of guarantees for foreigners classified as migrant workers and their families. This introductory-level course, offered in Spanish by URosarioX, provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into a topic of growing importance on local, national, regional, and global scales.
