In this class for any level student, we will explore painting beautiful abstract florals.
I will walk you through painting three basic floral shapes, and practicing loose sketchy lines. I will demonstrate how to mix coral, teal, and interesting green paint colors for our watercolor flowers.
Then, we will chat about layers and details.
I will walk you through 2 different paintings: a small floral, and a larger coral florals painting.
This class is not a realistic class. The approach is loose, impressionistic, and abstract.
Above all, our focus is on relaxing, staying loose, and enjoying the painting process.

This class doesn’t require any prior experience or fancy tools. Everything you’ll see will be happening in Procreate, however if you have other software or want to try traditional materials – you’re welcome to join!
Paint a charming watercolor castle in the woods that is reminiscent of an old fairy tale. Using basic watercolor supplies and a simple line art template, you can create an elaborate stone castle surrounded by lush green foliage. When finished, you'll have an 8"x10" landscape painting to cherish.
In this class, we will learn about using objects we find in nature and combining them with India Ink to create motifs for design work. Flowers, leaves, twigs, grass, even rocks can be looked at in a new and inspiring way. Once captured on paper, those images can be turned into digital format using Adobe Illustrator its Image Trace tool. We will learn about using this tool, even without prior experience using the program. Within a short amount of time, we will have digital images ready to be used on a variety of projects. If you are looking to expand your design ideas, or simply want to use the inspiration from your own surroundings, this class will help you grab that moment in nature and capture its beauty tangibly.
